  • Original research on “Treatment of Allergic and Vasomotor Rhinitis by Local Application of Silver Nitrate” and original work on “Caloripharyngeus, Burning in the Throat” published in U.K. & U.S.A. and presented at 2 World E.N.T. conferences.
  • Presented many radio and T.V. talks, and articles in magazines for lay public.
  • Conducted courses in Microdissection of Cadaveric Temporal (Ear) Bones and Microsurgery of Ear and Larynx (Voice box) every year for 12 years at Sion Hospital and L.T.M.M. College.
  • Educational Video cassettes on FESS (Sinuscopic Surgery) and Microsurgery of Ear And Larynx prepared.
  • Examiner for D.N.B.,M.S.,D.O.R.L.,M.B.B.S.,B.Sc. (Audiology & Speech Therapy) several times for National Board of Examinations Delhi, various universities and College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai.

Activities In The Association Of Otolaryngologists (E.N.T.Surgeons) Of India (AOI)

  • All India President AOI 1998 in the Golden Jubilee Year.
  • All India convenor for the National Day For the Deaf in 1998 and 1999. Conceived and organized First and Second All India National Days for the Deaf in 1998 and 1999, where in over 40 and 100 cities respectively, more than 20000 and 45000 senior citizens respectively over the age 60 years were examined and treated free of charge, and received treatment and hearing aids at very concessional rates.
  • Joint Secretary, AOI in 1993.
  • Past President, Mumbai Branch of AOI.

  • 3rd S.P.Sharma Memorial Award and Oration at North West Zone AOI (ENT Surgeons) Branch conference for Outstanding Contribution for Deafness in 2013
  • Won Rotary RI District trophies for community service 3 times and PolioPlus 7 times.
  • Biography included for publication at U.K. in “Directory of International Biography” 29th Edition and “Outstanding People of the 20th Century” 2nd Edition, and in many other Indian publications.
