Conceived and organized First and Second All India National Days for the Deaf in 1998 and 1999, where in over 40 and 100 cities respectively, more than 20000 and 45000 senior citizens respectively over the age 60 years were examined and treated free of charge, and received treatment and hearing aids at very concessional rates.
